You will be accommodated in our home at
the main plantation house. It is a large and comfortable house built
in the early 1940s with bricks
and roof tiles handmade with local clay.
It has a stone foundation,
handmade windows and tongue and groove wooden floors. Its thick
masonry walls, wide veranda and high ceilings help to keep the house
comfortably cool. |
 |
The grounds around the house are planted with
subtropical plants, including an enormous "figueira", a wild fig tree,
which shades the north (hot) side of the house. |
 |
 |
The house is spacious with large common areas indoors and out for relaxing, reading, or getting to know one another.
You may use the internet if you wish or call home on our new VOIP phone. |
We have 4 bedrooms with private baths
and 2 additional bedrooms with a shared bath.
The rooms are spacious and simply decorated with
double or twin beds and simple wooden furniture |

Meetings, Retreats, Etc.
We are not specifically set up for meetings,
but because we host such small groups, we can arrange practically anything.
We have a temperamental dial-up connection, cell phone coverage, satellite
TV, and can be a great place for a retreat.
